2023 Fundraising Event
Our 4th Annual Wine Tasting and Silent Auction was a huge hit! The event was held on August 29th at 45 Café & Coffee House in Norcross, GA. Our Board of Directors welcomed over 80 attendees who enjoyed sampling wines from around the world, and tasting heavy hors d'oeuvres. Additionally, our supporters participated in the silent auction by bidding on 40 different prize baskets and purchasing raffle tickets. Our organization is extremely grateful for the continued support of our volunteers and sponsors. We cannot continue to provide engaging STEM content, field trips, up-to-date curriculum, and hands-on projects without our IT Girls patrons.
2022 Fundraising Event
Our 2022 Wine Tasting & Silent Auction was held September 22nd at 45 Café & Coffee House in Norcross, GA. We appreciate 45 Café & Coffee House for hosting us again this year. At our event, attendees enjoyed appetizers and sampling various wines from around the world while networking and mingling with one another. Additionally, our attendees bid on amazing prize baskets and purchased raffle tickets for door prizes. We had a wonderful turnout and we raised over $5,000 for the IT Girls Foundation! The money raised is allocated for STEM projects, and furthering our mission of empowering young girls to pursue careers in the STEM world. We are so appreciative of all our supporters and attendees that made this evening a success.
2021 Fundraising Event
The 2021 Fundraising Event was held October 15th at 45 Café & Coffee House. We held a wine tasting and a silent auction to help raise money to fund the 2021-2022 school year. We had a wonderful turnout and we raised $4,500 for the IT Girls Foundation! The money is allocated towards STEM projects, and furthering our mission of empowering young girls to pursue careers in the STEM world. We are so appreciative of all our supporters and attendees that made this evening a success.
2019 Fundraising Event
For our first official year as a non-profit organization, we needed to develop an event to build funds to support our program. While we’ve been serving several schools since 2015, we needed to formalize a sustainable program for years to come. So, in October 2019, we held a fundraiser at Vino Venue where they donated a portion of the evenings proceeds and where we raised money thru a silent auction. We raised over $6,000 in funds to support the program, while having a good evening of fun and networking.
